In their previous encounters, Manchester United and AS Roma have faced off eight times, with United holding a slight advantage at 5 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. Despite AS Roma securing a 3-2 victory in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-finals in May 2021, Manchester United advanced to the next round with an aggregate score of 8-5.
