The fate of this appointment, whether it will evolve into a permanent role or merely serve as an interim measure, remains uncertain. The 34-year-old scout has garnered widespread praise and has meticulously crafted an impressive network of connections over the past several years. He joined FC Bayern Munich as a scout in December 2024 and subsequently ascended to the position of chief scout under the guidance of Schmidtke.
